Landscapes of Lomagne Gersoise

"The landscape is not a simple look at things, it is a view that touches us. (...)

The landscape is a carnal and sentimental experience, whether the feeling is aesthetic and/or nostalgic or other, places" (d'Angio et alii, 2001).

I never tire of photographing the Lomagne Gersoise, a hilly landscape with unobstructed viewpoints opening onto wide open spaces. Depending on the season, there are magnificent lights that bathe the countryside. Changing colors, rich in shades offer a wide palette: the acid green of winter wheat, the bright yellow of rapeseed, the delicate blue of flax, the golden color of harvests and the explosion of sunflower fields in summer are among them. some examples. Nicknamed “little Tuscany”. we find there the charm of its landscapes: undulating hillsides, oblong light, small lakes, cypresses.
